Kehehe

I sometimes wonder how some people, including people from the West got into my blog (XDD Oooh, I'm so popular!).

I don't mind if you're one of my friends, one of my followers, or just one of those who's just interested in reading or just for fun.

But if you're stalking me for other/sinister/evil reasons, then please note that you're just wasting your time. I will only write about MY life and my fav artists. You know who you are, so don't bother to find more information about that particular someone. X3

PS: Should I post my stories here? :S Sorry, I'm just rambling to myself XD

Balik kampung~~

The last time we went back to Kedah was like...what, last raya?? =__=|| So we decided to visit Mak Tuk before we go to Umrah (which is on 14th May) last Friday. As usual, Papa speed up throughout the journey, but not so much anymore, since Mama warned him that if he's gonna speed up like F1 racer then he'll go back alone.

Then, the worst thing happened to us. We stopped in Ipoh as Papa wanted to do Jumaat prayers, so Mama just left him there and she drove around to find the flower pots shop she saw, but we couldn't find the shop. So we went back - only to get lost in the city. We searched for like an hour or so for the mosque, but we didn't realize there were actually two mosques in the city. So after all the cursings and misdirections (I was, of course, not much of a help, since I have no sense of direction), Mama finally stopped at Balai Polis and asked them the directions. They kinda laughed and one of them showed her the directions. Ugh... so many 'One-way's. But Melaka was worse... Now I love the cities Selangor, Johor and Kedah more (though Alor Setar is changing to more one-ways as well --__--||)

There was nothing much happened in Kedah...except that the next day we went back to our old home in UUM, Sintok. Nothing much changed there, but there were some constructions of new faculty buildings. But Mama and Papa kept recalling about my incident... I don't think any of my friends know about this. lol

Back when I was 9, which was when we were still living in UUM, there was a Mental Arithmetic class for kids, so I entered it. One day, I went to the class as usual, but I didn't realize the class was cancelled because I was absent at the previous class. But Abang Zahid (our driver at that time) had left already, and I was stuck there alone (except that there was a cleaning lady). Then, I decided to walk back home... I didn't realize I took the wrong turn... So I just continued walking 3.1 km, without even thinking that I should ask someone for help. Then, as I reached to a gate, two guys on a motorbike were coming my way and stopped as they saw me. Luckily they were one of the campus guards, judging by the walky-talky. One of them sent me home...that was my first time riding on a motorbike....

*sigh* I have such a weird childhood ===____===||| Since then my family would still talk about it and either wonder "Why didn't you ask someone for help??" or "How da heck did you go that far?!?!".. since I'm kinda like the weakest in the family, so they didn't quite believe that I actually walked 3.1 km.

I actually kinda miss my old homes, but I think I'm just gonna stick to Bangi for now ^__^||.

PS: Oh, and I just realize that I've gotten FATTER than before. There was a tailor in Sg. Petani, where my uncle and his family lived, and Mama have sent some kain to tempah for raya (which is like so lama lagi), and I think the tailor used the same measurement of me as before for my kain...but when I tried it on, it was ketat siot. But oh well. I actually wanted to put on weight, so I was quite happy. XDD

Tengok wayang....

God. Mama and Kak Tum are still in the dining room - watching a maid from next 2 houses giving food to one or two workers. Kak Tum and Kak Min (next door neighbour's maid) once saw the maid hugging and kissing one of them as they said their goodbyes. At first Mama didn't believe her - but now that she's seeing it with her own eyes, she can't stop watching while eating. -_-|| To me it's kinda like a waste of time. Might as well report it to the owner.

ugh...turn off the Baby Volume already!!

So for today's main event, Auntie Mas arranged for the whole family to gather at Uncle Jali's house for high tea to see his granddaughter. Papa, though, went to play golf, and God knows what Ezhan's doing today (probably dating).

We went to pick up Kakak from 1 Utama - she went there to have Zahira play with Ryan (Son of Kak Shara - she's Kakak's close friend) in the baby playground there. Abang Bad was having an exam (jeez, even workers have paper exams just to naik pangkat). We reached her house and waited for her to finish her lunch (which Mama brought from home). At the same time, Mama picked up Kak Ema (Auntie Bedah's maid) to help Kak Tum clean up Kakak's house. After that, we left the maids there and went to Auntie Mas' house, where Auntie Nana, Wan and Mak Su were already there.

Auntie Mas lent us some of her Jubahs and telekung (i think). We were only there for a while and went straight to Uncle Jali's house. Auntie Bedah's family was already there with Auntie Ani and Uncle Jali, together with their granddaughter, Shania (apparently, she was doing her 'work', or making 'cake' as Auntie Ani said XD).

Then, Uncle Rem and his family came - apparently Nina was with them and Arin just got out of the hospital yesterday (Nina had 4 days of holiday due to Pesta Sukan ape ntah.. And Arin had dengue fever) Apparently Nina revealed that there were 2 guys in her school that were fighting over her XDD Uncle Rem and Auntie Liza seemed like they wanna throw up...she's quite open with her parents
though. But all of us were happy to hear that she didn't want to change to another school, coz the MRSM in Langkawi is one of the elite schools - if she does though, I'm gonna slap her face.

The baby...was so small! Okay, maybe I'm being a bit biased since I'm used to big babies like Zahira, but seriously! She looks so...fragile. Okay, I'm gonna shut up ==__==||

Another strange thing about this baby, is that she doesn't cry much. She cries only for a while, then there'll be a pause..then cry...then pause. So it's kinda like a play/pause button XD. The TOTAL opposite to Zahira...who was - as usual - clingy to her mom. Everytime her mom just wants to go get more food or go into the toilet, she'll suddenly start to cry unless we distract her with something (like fishies in aquarium). Man...she's so jakun. But I don't blame her, since she doesn't see her parents much at day, so she really wants their attention...at least that's what Mama said.

Happy birthday dear Okasan~~ X3

16th April. It was my mother's birthday. We celebrated at Victoria Station for dinner.. well, not much actually happened, but she did get a diamond ring from my sis (she looked at Papa and said, "Ha, Pa, tengok!" Meaning: "You have to buy me one also" XD)

Hm.. well the food was ok, but just dat.

On Tuesday, Mama, Eli and I went to Alamanda to watch Talentime. The story was simple, but very interesting. In this movie, Yasmin Ahmad focused more onto the racial problems between Indians and Malay, but it was really funny watching the Indians making jokes. But dang~~ The Indian protagonist was damn good-looking! Even Eli agrees!! Though, the female protagonist (the one from Amazing Race Asia, as well as younger sister of Vincent AF1) doesn't seem fit here, coz she seems...old. But what's funny was when Adibah Noor's character saw her, she said, "Betul ke dia ni Form 5? Nampak cam mak orang je..." XDD

Well, it was a good movie nonetheless. But my mom wasn't quite fond of it because the ending was hanging - it didn't even mention who won the Talentime, or what happened to Mahesh (it's actually his real name! lol) and Melur. Nonetheless, it was really another masterpiece of Yasmin Ahmad. And compared to the previous movies, it involves many musical backgrounds. The song 'O Re Piya (My love)' really caught my attention, that I even looked at the translation lyrics intentively.

Crazy days!!

A lot has been happening for the past few days. On Saturday, we went to Auntie Mas' house since she invited the whole family there. She stayed at Abang's house at Hong Kong and was really grateful for Kak Dian's hospitality there.

After all the hoo-haa there, Mama, Auntie Mas and watashi went to the An-Nuur shop to get Mama's customized 'tudung Ekin', whereas the other family members (Abang, Kak Dian, Papa, Eli, Ezhan, Kakak's family) went to Kakak's new house to plan further about the renovation there.

After we went to An-Nuur, Nanith called Auntie Mas to pick her up at school. She went to this TV9/ntv7 studio with the other kids to meet Nabil (the 2nd Raja Lawak). After that, Auntie Mas showed us the new link house she bought, probably for her children in the near future. It was quite huge; not only the height, but also the wideness of the house. Though, it costed RM500grand+
--_--|| Kakak only bought hers RM400grand, and it's 5,000 sq.ft. semi-D...

So we went back to Auntie Mas' house and saw that the others were already back. We chit-chat more and Abang invited Auntie Mas and her family to dinner with us at Tarbush, a Middle-east restaurant, at Starhill. Yes, people, Starhill, where all the perasan rich people go to (but the area around it were like hawau XD). And I'm tellin' ya...the food there were TASTY!! With the beef, chicken, kebab, dipped with garlic sauce plus with the Lemon Na' na (..ok, that's actually my drink, which is lemon with freshmint). Even when I woke up in the morning, I could still feel the food in my tummy..

The next day, Wan invited us to have lunch at her house, and Auntie Mas was invited as well. So, again, the hoo-haas. And Zahira as usual wanted to stick with her mom like a baby koala bear. After a while though, she started to play with Nanith.. I always thought Zahira is really tall for her age (which she is, actually) but looking at her next to Nanith, she looks so CUTE! (in terms of size as well)

But Kakak had a total bummer. She had to be at the office in the evening and she's really pissed off.

Anyway, this evening we sent Abang and Kak Dian to the airport. Strangely, Kak Dian ate three, THREE huge parts of roast chicken, together with the ulam + rice. Then, she ate the papaya and had the time to eat ais krim potong before we depart. And they even told us that they'd buy KFC after they checked in...it's weird to think that she eats a lot, coz she's so skinny and has low blood pressure!

Meh...so, that's all I'll have to say for now. Over and OUT! ^_^V

PS: Utada's Come Back To Me actually came out in Mix FM this morning!! ToT I'M SO HAPPY FOR HER!!!

REUNION!! 8D

Yay!! The whole family is under one roof (for now)!

So yeah, my Hong Kong tycoon bro is back with Kak Dian (his ever-so-crazy wife XD), and Eli's back for her Study Week (study la konon...). Ezhan and Kakak (with her own family) are pretty obvious why they're here, since they live in Selangor area.

Let's start from yesterday... I told Mama, "Nak bawa juga ke si kenik ni (Zahira)?" I was afraid that she would cry when she see Abang and Kak Dian as we were about to pick them up from the airport, just like last time, but Mama said bawa je la. Alas, history repeats itself, as she was clinging on to me for life. Mama was driving, but she kept looking at the back saying, "Eza, pujuk la die!" Abang was like, "Ma, you're driving. Look at the road!"

So Abang practically had a migraine throughout the journey from KLIA to Bangi, and Kak Dian tried her best to calm her down like showing her the chick chocolate (yes, chick as in little chicken). But she still cries. Though I had a feeling that she cried crocodile tears...she barely had tears in her eyes!! *grunt grunt* Habis basah baju aku kene air liur/tear/hingus die...

As we finally, finally reached home, I passed her to Kak Tum and felt so RELIEVED! I took a breather for a while and changed my clothes. We had evening tea and ate all the cakes that Mama had frozen (the ones that she made herself).

Before dinner, as everyone else were praying (it's that time of month for me), Kak Tum asked me to check on the Power Juicer (new one X3) since she was afraid that she might assembled it wrongly. And may I say, how easy it was to use that juicer. You don't need to slice the fruits (well we were making orange juice, so of course the oranges had to be peeled) so you just put the whole thing into it. And may I say how practical yet very quiet it was? It's not your usual juice blender that makes a lot of noise that you can't even hear yourself talking. So anyways, even though you add air gula into it, you can actually taste the difference.

So juices aside, we had a blast at dinner as usual. Though I didn't eat much, because of the chocolates that Kak Dian bought (it's near Easter holiday, so she bought chocolates over there like crazy --__--||), and I ate a lot of it for the evening tea.

For today...nothing much happened, except that Zahirah still freaked out when Abang and Kak Dian got back from their medical check-ups. She's really slow with strangers. So those who have met her should know better. But after a while she seemed to get along with especially Kak Dian, but she's still scared when she was carried by her.

So yeah, that's about it for now. Sorry that I didn't update much about my life, since I had nothing much to say before ^_^||

The highest epik of all time..

May I say how much I love this dorky trio? Epik High, people!! XD *cheers*

I guess I don't need to tell you who they are since you can just go to wikipedia or google. But let me introduce each member. From L to R: DJ Tukutz, Tablo (leader & rapper), Mithra Jin (rapper).

There are many reasons why I like this trio. Firstly, they're not your typical mainstream artist. Secondly, they voiced their thoughts freely through their music without filtering their words and didn't bother if theirs songs were banned on tv and/or radio (there's always YouTube). Thirdly, they're just plain dorks. Fourthly, they're not afraid to experiment with music. And finally, they're 100% authentic and talented.

They just released a new album called, "Map The Soul". I guess it's kinda like a continuation from their "Map The Human Soul" and "Remapping the Human Soul" albums. And the songs - well, the title says it all. But for the project of this album, they went all the way by distributing the book+album themselves just to cut off the price for their fans...aww, they're so sweet!! X3 And even better, the album is bilingual to cater all of their fans worldwide. But the thing is, you can't find it in any music stores. The album is sold exclusively on their website @ www.mapthesoul.com and payment can only be made via credit card (VISA, MasterCard)... Hm, it sounds like as if I'm promoting them XDD. Oh well~~

Oh, and they're having an online showcase at the website as well. They'll perform all songs on the album (except for instrumentals, skit, and bonus track) right in their recording studio.

I fell in love with the boys when I listened to their "Pieces, Part One" album. It was "Usan (Umbrella)" that caught my ears, where they're featuring Younha. And notice that they have done a lot of collaborations with underground artists, which I think is very interesting and uncommon in Korean music industry. So, for those who'd prefer quality of music over looks, this is the group for you!

...uuhhhh...

@_@ I can't believe I actually slept around 3 am and woke up near 9am...I actually slept for 5 or 6 hours!!! That's like...a record man! XD Well, I HAD to wake up at 8+ because we had plans.

First, we went to enstek, a new housing area near KLIA and Sepang F1 Circuit which Pak Lah has launched last year I think. It was my first time going through the show houses, despite that my family have gone to a LOT of show houses before. The place was really nice, and the designs of the houses were equivalent to normal Australian houses. The architect for the area is actually Papa's ex-student, and his son apparently studied architecture in Australia so he probably designed most of the houses as well. But the show houses were really nice. Quite practical and not too gawdy/over-worked. Mama couldn't help but think that some of the houses looked like small factories. Well, I don't blame her, since there were some designs that were too simple, and Mama and I weren't too fond of the roofs.

The way that my parents talked to the dealer there though, it sounded like as if they were serious on buying one of the bungalows (that was either haven't built yet or wasn't completed yet). Ezhan and I were like, "Eh? Are you serious?" We don't mind if they buy one, but we wondered when will our parents stick to one place. They've moved houses 22 times since they were married! And ever since Ezhan mentioned it, I've also realized... As long as we have lived since we were born, we never live in one house more than 5 years. It will always be like..moving things and stuffs yet again. And yet Mama said she doesn't mind moving to another house again --_--||. Honestly, if her siblings hear this, I'd bet they'll start cursing again, since it was always them who helped us carrying things, cleaning the new house etc. etc.

But then Mama thought they have another option of investing on it, like rent it to other people, or maybe just sell it off again. But the place was so nice~~

After that, we went to Jam Tyre to take the Rio car back. As we waited for the workers to do the finishing touches on it, we sat in Jam's (the tauke of the place) office and listen to him talk about his past experience and all. He was more talking to Ezhan and was advising him about taking up a new business and all XD. And Ezhan was just all smiles but was listening to him intentively. FYI, Jam is actually a Bangla Muslim who married to 2 Malay women (yes people, he has TWO wives). So we saw his 2nd wife with him at that time. She seemed quite pleasant, plus she was pregnant (I don't know why..I have the tendency of admiringly looking at pregnant women. Maybe it's because I respect them, or that there's actually new lives in those bellies of theirs)

We went lunch at Nilai Spring Resort. Mama and Papa ordered mee, whereas me and Ezhan ordered western. Strangely, Mama and Papa got theirs first. Mama even finished before mine came, and Papa was almost finished when Ezhan got his. Mine (which was chicken) was great! It was crispy yet juicy. Ezhan's (which was lamb) wasn't that great though. The lamb wasn't marinated enough so it was liat. He had to use his hands to split off the meat to small pieces.

Thus, we went home and went to our respective rooms.

Oh, wow. I just realized I've already posted more than 20 entries! Yay for me! XD

Mary had a lamb~~

Every time I have a muse to write something, I just suddenly felt a bit gothic/mosher especially after listening to Evanescence's Lose Control (yes, it has the lyrics 'Mary had a lamb').

Anyways, I decided to write down that 'something' due to the weird dream I had a few nights ago. Kind of like Harry Potter-ish, but I think it's more dark, gothic, more fantasy-like and more international, yet the people will think more modern instead of looking at the non-magical people and things like aliens. And somehow Ben Barnes and Rain were in that dream for God knows why. XD

Synopsis:

In Japan, there lived an orphan Muslim girl and her grandfather, together with her aunt and the aunt's family. A twist of events occured on her seventeenth birthday, as she realized that her family is a group of famous magicians and her Grandfather was one of the Great Sentinels. It was fate that chose her to inherit the Grandfather's former title, but is it possible for a girl? She had no choice but to enter a school in which the chosen ones in her family had studied. There, she met the current candidates as Great Sentinels. Apparently she was almost too late, since four candidates were already chosen and there was only one seat left. She had to fight for that title, fight through all the bullying that were thrown at her, and fight for her family's pride...

...8DD I think it's lame. What do you think?

PS: You can expect a bit like Hana Yori Dango in this story.

A day with grandma and aunt

Today, our main mission was to visit Wan's (my grandma) house in Keramat, KL. But before that, we went to Pasar Tanglin (is that the name??) to get back the vegetables we left behind last time. The guy there remembered Mama and gave the vegetables to her for free (so nice~). After buying more vegetables, we finally went off. Aunt Bedah called Mama and said that she was on the way to Wan's house as well. Apparently Uncle Hatta's in Vietnam right now, so she used the driver to her advantage to get to Wan's house (as usual XD).

We stopped by at Uncle Jalil's MayFirst shop after that to give him the grocery stuffs Mama bought for him. After buying medic-oils from him, we left and finally reached Wan's house (on the way we saw Aunt Bedah's driver waiting under a tree. Poor guy). I went into the house first and greeted Wan. At first I didn't realize Aunt Bedah was there, until I saw her sitting on the floor at one corner, checking out a handphone. Even Mama didn't realize she was there.

Turns out that the blue, Nokia handphone she was holding was for Wan. Uncle Hatta got no. 5 in a golf competition and got the handphone as a prize. And since it's high-time for Wan to have a newer and better handphone (she has eye problems), Aunt Bedah gave it to her. Wan said it was better than having to buy another one since Uncle Jalil or Uncle Jali (I forgot which one...or was it someone else...?) wanted to buy one for her.

So all three of them sat and talked for a while, while we drank the coconut my mom bought back at the pasar. After that, we went lunch together to this...I don't know how to describe it, but it's like the stalls/restaurants at normal highway resting places. They only had nasi campur, but I and Mama didn't feel like eating nasi (I haven't eaten KFC for a long time T_T). But we ate there anyways since Wan was the one who recommended it (kesian pula kat dia nanti...). The food was okay, nothing special. Mama's paying the bill today. But she said it was quite expensive for a nasi campur restaurant, since she had to pay RM30 (i don't know if that's the normal price for other nasi campur restoran). Then again, they gave free sweets and bananas. No wonder why Uncle Jalil loves to go there.

We went back to Wan's house, and stayed there for quite a while. It was funny listening to Mama and Aunt Bedah talking about their husbands, especially the part where they would only listen to their friends like medicine or good restaurants, instead of listening to their own wives and/or kids.

Eg: Papa heard a restaurant called Subway, where they sell sandwiches. He said, "It's really good!" But thing is, my siblings and I have already went there ages ago XD. And Jaya Jusco behind Wan's house, Mama already asked him to come with us since there's a lot of restaurants there. He didn't want to. But then he went there with his friends and said, "Oh, there were many restaurants there!"... Yes, Pa, we know that already. We went there at the opening week. In Aunt Bedah's case, Uncle Hatta kept buying or being given many kinds of medicines, just because his friends said they're good. He would eat the first few pills. But after that, they're just decorations up in the shelves... See how funny Malaysian fathers can be?

We stayed there for like...3..4 hours?? But it was fun, though. Man, it's been a long time since we had proper family reunions. I so missed Mama's and all the aunties' united voices (especially when they're screaming/screeching/laughing XDD)
